We would like to invite you to become a member of The Lincoln Monument Association as it is being reformed to preserve the efforts of the original association which was comprised of those who knew and revered the self-sacrificing dedication of one man to the preservation of the Union. Once again, we are turning to the people who know and love the heritage that the life of Abraham Lincoln has given us.
Your support of the Lincoln Monument Association will help insure that the traditions of the first National Lincoln Monument Association will endure in the years to come. This revered and venerable site holds a place in the hearts of all Americans and in the hearts those who cherish the hard-fought gift of freedom still being preserved today. Visitors from all over the world come each day to pay homage to the President ranked as the greatest leader in our nation’s history.
This revived association also seeks to extend our care to the War Memorials which commemorate those who have given their “last full measure of devotion” by their supreme sacrifice to preserve our Nation from the foreign aggression and to secure the freedom we enjoy as a people united in our democracy.
The Lincoln Monument Association pledges its efforts to preserve and protect this hallowed national monument to the memory of President Lincoln as well as the priceless give of freedom for which so many of our beloved citizen-heroes continue to give their lives for to this very day.
